Ruth:

The Wine Press issue about committing everything to Jesus and resting in Him is one that I have read over and over. I tend to worry a lot, so when I feel things overwhelming me I remind myself that Jesus is in control. That cuts the worry circuit in half and has really helped to heal my mind and heart.

 Elisabeth:

Sometimes I tend to forget how crazy Jesus is about each one of us, but this Wine Press issue once again reminded me of that. No matter where I am or what “status” I am, the Lord sees and hears and knows what I need. He honors the fact that we are fighting to be what he wants us to be by being in the world but not part of it. Reading about the bubble keys was awesome. I know they work because I feel them when I need them!

David:

“Apples of Gold” was really good! It speaks of faith, which I really need at this time. I am looking forward to the second half.

Julie:

I really enjoy reading the Endtime News and I learn so much about what’s going on in the world from Dad’s great advice. He said “do they at least pray for those who are affected, those who suffer and sometimes die?” it hit me hard and activated my prayer key to pray when I hear about disasters now. Lord help me to learn faster --  but at least I’m learning. I’m so glad Jesus loves me and chose me and I hope I can show him I love him too. I’m especially grateful for all the wonderful Word I receive.

Tom:

I can’t say enough how much the “Resting in the Lord” and meditation Letters spoke to me. I have a busy work schedule with constant interruptions and “surprises”. My to-do list is more of a joke then a reality. I read something about a person in a similar position of responsibility as me who came to the realization that the “interruptions” were what he was really supposed to be taking care of. That was his job, and more important then the to-do list. Often I have no idea what the day will bring, but I am growing to value my morning time with the Lord more and more. He helps me find joy in my work!

Arnold:

I sure appreciate what the NuBeat website has done and I find it very helpful! The 12 Foundation Stones website is very helpful as well. What an amazing Activated magazine you sent me last month! Just what was needed for Fathers Day! Thanks as well for all the personal letters that are sent to me. These last two months I’ve started re-reading all the Wine Press issues right from the start and what I’ve really began to realize is how important praise is to the Lord. Wow! Once again thanks to all the inspiration you folks have been to me.

Joseph:

The Wine Press featuring “What is True Spirituality?” really simplified my understanding of the struggle between the flesh verses the spirit. Activated Volume 10, issue 6 has so many good articles on fathers that I asked for extra copies to give out and leave on tables at the homeless shelter where there are some fathers with their very young children.

Rob:

I’ve been re-reading “Resting in the Lord”, which reminds ne to let go of the weights and to press in to the high mark of our calling in Christ. The Family is the only group I know of that is really preaching the Gospel as their main theology!
