Welcome to TheWinePress.org
Hi! We're happy that you've come to visit TheWinePress.org. Our site is designed as a place for members and alumni of The Family International (formerly The Children of God) to catch up on news, photos and happenings around the world. Since the founding of The Family in 1968, tens of thousands of individuals have served as missionaries in our international fellowship. The internet has been a means of renewing contact with many who we've lost touch with over the years and our hope is that this web site will provide an online meeting place and community for both current Family members and alumni.
We're also posting issues of The Wine Press monthly magazine which contains news from current Family members around the world, updates on our missionary activities, devotionals, words from Jesus and articles of interest. The Wine Press magazine does not require a subscription fee, and if you would like to receive the monthly Wine Press, mailing please fill out the form provided here and we’d be happy to put you on our mailing list.
Following are just a few samples from the many hundreds of letter we have received over the years from former members
God bless all of you precious brothers and sisters in Christ. Your tender, sincere words of encouragement and prayers helped me to get back on my feet. I love the Wine Press issues--please keep ’em coming! Thank you for all your prayers and support. I could not have done without you! --Joseph
My wife and I have been reading the Wine Press and other material you send and it is always a blessing. Thank you so much--you can't know what it means to me to hear from you. It’s like finding something precious that you had lost andfound again later. You help me know that Jesus still loves me and does care what happens to me. There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of Him and call His name. --Jerry
I'm trying to express the joy that I have after all I read in this month's Wine Press issue. Each issue touches a different area of my heart and contributes to a feeling of fulfillment that is impossible to receive anywhere else. --Eric
