Love Not Wasted

From Maria: I received the following moving account from Emanuel (Venezuela). (The story is taken from the John Mark Ministries Web page, and detailed in the book Aggie: A Girl Without a Country, previously published under the title One Witness, written by Aggie Hurst and published just after her death in 1981.) It’s an account of how someone planted seeds of love, and about how far that love went in the life of one person—eventually affecting the lives of thousands.

Jesus, on Christmas Praise

Jesus: Happy Christmas! It’s almost My birthday, and I want to celebrate this time with you. I want this season to be our season, a time when I pour down special blessings and gifts on you. I love giving to you even on My birthday, because I know that you deserve it.

I love to spoil you. I long to see you happy and celebrating this Christmas with Me, and I want to offer you joys of the spirit that will make this time even more special and unique. You have been through a lot this last year, you have given much to Me, and so I want to show My appreciation in return by doing something special for you.
