Welcome to TheWinePress.org
TheWinePress.org is a website for members and alumni of The Family International (formerly known as The Children of God). Since the founding of The Family in 1968, tens of thousands of individuals have served as missionaries in our international fellowship. The internet has been a means of renewing contact with many who we've lost touch with over the years and our hope is that this web site will provide an online meeting place and community for both current Family members and alumni. We also keep in touch with many of our worldwide Family members via a monthly magazine called "The Wine Press" which is a collection of New Wine, testimonies and news of the Family around the World. If you would like to get in touch please contact us today.
Love Not Wasted
Jesus, on Christmas Praise
Jesus: Happy Christmas! It’s almost My birthday, and I want to celebrate this time with you. I want this season to be our season, a time when I pour down special blessings and gifts on you. I love giving to you even on My birthday, because I know that you deserve it.I love to spoil you. I long to see you happy and celebrating this Christmas with Me, and I want to offer you joys of the spirit that will make this time even more special and unique. You have been through a lot this last year, you have given much to Me, and so I want to show My appreciation in return by doing something special for you.
Letter of Apology
From Karen Zerby (Maria) and Steve Kelly (Peter)
To Former Members of the Family International (formerly the Children of God)
We pray that this letter finds you and your loved ones well. We wish you all the best and hope that your lives are filled with God’s many blessings. We want to take this opportunity to thank you for your years of missionary service with the Family. Your contributions have played an important role in our mission of reaching the world with God’s love.
What are people saying about the Wine Press?
I enjoy all the publications you send.
Robert:
“Sharing the Love” (pt 2) is so, so helpful and encouraging to people like myself in my situation. I find it easy to get frustrated. So the counsel is invaluable!
Robert:
(As a movement) Seems that we may have a “little” longer on planet earth then what I anticipated, if the Lord is telling us how to prepare for a greater influx of new converts and how to look after them.
Become a “Marriage Warrior”
(By Marty Friedman:) Men have always thrown themselves into their work—that’s where we usually feel the most powerful and successful. In the last 20 or 30 years, fathers have become much more loving, friendly, and caring parents to their children. That’s the good news. The bad news is that many fathers are still so intensely focused on their work—and children—that they’re letting their marriages wither on the vine.
